Community and Capacity Development Manager, John Rex Endowment
Linh Pham is the Community & Capacity Development Manager at the John Rex
Endowment, where she has the privilege of sitting with nonprofit leaders as they share
their visions for a more resilient and equitable Wake County for families and children.
A proud immigrant of Vietnamese heritage, Pham began her 20+ years in nonprofit work
and community service supporting refugee and immigrant communities in North
Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. She earned her bachelor’s degree in
International Studies from UNC–Charlotte and a master’s in International Development
from the University of Pittsburgh.
As a young girl, she dreamed of going abroad to save the world—but a mentor once
reminded her that there’s plenty of good work to be done right here at home. She
embraced that wisdom and never looked back.
Passionate about reimagining philanthropy as a tool for belonging, Linh is happiest
when spending time with her family, puttering around in her kitchen, or discovering new
local thrift shops.
